A granddaughter of Pentecostal Pastors, Billie Jean spent much time with the Saints of God. While still a little child, she attended many home and church prayer meetings. She greatly believed in the Power of Prayer, Casting out Demons, Miraculous Healings and Signs and Wonders.
Sister Billie recognized her gift when she was a small child. Whatever she dreamed would manifest. She saw visions and other activity in the spirit world that she did not understand. She was told years later that she had a choice – she could either use her gift for God or for Satan. God chose her, and she answered His call. She was saved, Holy Spirit filled and Fire Baptized on December 9, 1979. She was ordained an Elder at the Dunamis Outreach Ministries Worldwide, Inc. She was the Chief Intercessor at the “D.O.M”. She was also a member of the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees and the Elders’ Board.
Several years ago, the Lord gave Sister Billie the vision to begin a Prayer Band. She was told by God to name it the “Higher Calling Prayer Band”. Her vision was to have meetings where people from various ministries and denominations could come together to pray and experience a Great Move of God. She has taught, instructed and mentored men and women of God (some of which are now Senior Pastors) in the areas of prayer and various grace giftings. They were taught the benefits of Order, Humility, Faithful Service, Discipline and Faith and Trust in God.
Sister Billie is very sensitive to the needs of the people. She is grateful to God for using her as His Vessel. She has experienced God’s great healing power on many occasions throughout her years of service. God has graced her to flow heavily and accurately in the prophetic. She does minister to congregations at various ministries; however, the ministry that God has given her is unique. She often ministers in one-on-one deliverance, inner healing and counseling sessions. She has spiritual sons and daughters who are well known as anointed singers, writers, musicians and producer. She covers their ministries in prayer and provides them with Godly Counsel. Her present new venture is entering the door of being active in positive movie productions.
Prior to entering full-time ministry, Sister Billie spent 22 years working in the field of criminal and civil law as a paralegal, office manager, legal secretary and Polygram examiner. She is the mother of two sons who are both Senior Pastor. She has asked God to make her a “perfect laborer” so the she can provide whatever service necessary to each one she encounters, forever realizing that “FAITHFUL IS HE THAT CALLETH YOU, WHO ALSO WILL DO IT” (1 Thessalonians 5:24) Billie now serves at Detroit House of Judah as office administrator and counselor.
